Independent joins Guardian Group

The Independent Group plc has joined the Guardian Group, the Independent can announce.

Owner of the Independent Group, lily-irl, joins the Guardian Group as the Director of Sky News, which has been responsible for livestreaming the results of elections held in MHoC.

"I've got big shoes to fill, Weebru's been a giant of broadcasting," said Lily. "But this way I can write about something in the Independent's Meta section that isn't concerned with smurf pornography."
