Britain says: we want Inadorable
Labour leader Inadorable has topped a poll of Briton's preferred prime minister as votes are being counted in a tight three-way race between Labour, the Conservatives, and the Liberal Democrats.
Inadorable was most preferred, followed by Lib Dem leader amazonas122, then Conservative leader Blue-EG, and then Reform UK's WineRedPsy.
Rounding out the top 5 is Liberal Democrat t2boys, the only non-party leader to feature, beating out the Greens' poundedplanet40 as well as the Alba, Plaid, DUP, SDLP, and Alliance leaders.
Preferred Prime Minister | % |
---|---|
Inadorable (LAB) | 9.21% |
amazonas122 (LD) | 8.83% |
Blue-EG (CON) | 8.24% |
WineRedPsy (REF) | 4.90% |
t2boys (LD) | 3.28% |
The polling may inform coalition negotiations as one projection shows a hung parliament with no immediately obvious senior partner to enter No 10. While this would most likely be determined by the national popular vote, a slight lead in preferred prime minister polling might make a more compelling case to install one party's leader over another.
Full general election results are expected by Thursday, while the Independent will be publishing an exit poll before then.
